Update 31 May 2020
The Hall remains closed at present and will remain closed until government restrictions on indoor gatherings are relaxed. An update on re-opening will be given as soon as the situation allows.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM was due to take place in May but was postponed for obvious reasons. The meeting will be re-arranged as soon as social distancing rules allow.
QMH now has its own sound system. The system was supplied and installed in April by IAG Technology, a local audio visual specialist, based at Leaches Farm Business Centre on the A41. There are 4 wall mounted speakers in each corner of the main hall, 2 hand-held and 2 lapel microphones, a media player (CD, USB and Bluetooth connectivity) and an additional socket for a mixing desk. Every cloud has a silver lining… with the hall out of use during lockdown, it was easy to find 2 consecutive days when the installation team were able to work without disturbing anyone. We look forward to the time when the system can be used when meetings, activities and entertainment resume in the hall.
Graham Wray, the Quainton Painter, also used the lockdown as an opportunity to redecorate the kitchen. Many thanks to Graham who kindly donated his time free of charge.
